This is taken December 31st 2007 and we're on our way to the summit. The sun was actually warming which is very unusual at this time of year. It felt like Easter! Later on we had to take our skis off and carry them on our backpacks to the top because the wind the previous day had rendered the slopes rocky and with very little snow.
